The PAFA is a tool designed to assess students’ abilities during active functional fine VM
movements as they are involved in daily activities/performance skills/occupation irrespective of chronic atypical motor skills. This assessment focuses on active fine VM abilities regardless of physical severity and possible cognitive skills. PAFA provides a measuring tool to monitor progress over time as the student uses specific interventions/strategies.
